Our Burghotel offers 29 comfortable non-smoking rooms and suites. Each room is individually and lovingly furnished. Our rooms with balcony or terrace overlooking the Rhine offer special moments. Depending on the booking, the room rates include overnight stay/breakfast or overnight stay/half board, including a welcome sherry, free minibar and exclusive access to the castle garden as well as a visit to the Turm Museum during opening hours.

In our restaurant you can indulge in culinary delights or just enjoy the view from our terrace with a glass of wine. Festively set and lovingly decorated, this could be your table for your family celebration, birthday, wedding, christening or company anniversary, or simply for a cosy lunch or dinner for two or with friends. Our romantic restaurant Knappenstube with a view of the Engehöller valley offers space for a nice lunch or dinner with first-class food and wonderful wines. Go on a journey of discovery in our romantic castle garden. After greeting the Seven Maidens on your way down into the garden, explore the tree house, hidden springs or the rondavel, for example. You have fascinating views of the Engehöller Valley, the medieval town of Oberwesel and the Rhine Valley. The castle garden is exclusively available to our house guests.

Schönburg Castle is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley on a small hill above the medieval town of Oberwesel. All around, vineyard paths as well as forest and meadow paths invite you to hike with magnificent views of the Rhine valley. The Rhine Heights Trail and the Rhine Climb are also within easy reach, and the Rheingold Road invites you to cycle over the heights.
