Our castle hotel offers 29 comfortable non-smoking rooms and suites. Each room is individually and lovingly furnished. Our rooms with balconies or terraces overlooking the Rhine offer special moments. Room prices are based on booking with bed and breakfast or half board, including a welcome sherry, free minibar, exclusive access to the castle garden and a visit to the tower museum during opening hours.

Go on a journey of discovery in our romantic castle garden. After greeting the Seven Virgins on your way down to the garden, explore the tree house, hidden springs or the rondavel, for example. You will have fascinating views of the Engehöller Valley, the medieval town of Oberwesel and the Rhine Valley. The castle garden is exclusively available to our guests.

The Schönburg is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Middle Rhine Valley on a small hill above the medieval town of Oberwesel. All around, vineyard paths and forest and meadow trails invite you to go hiking with magnificent views of the Rhine Valley. The Rheinhöhenweg and Rheinsteig trails are also within easy reach, and the Rheingold Strasse invites you to go cycling over the hills.
