Welcome to the Pension Lachmann

In the middle of Saxon Switzerland, surrounded by the Pfaffenstein, the Königstein fortress and the Quirlfelsen, you will find our Pension Lachmann in a quiet, idyllic location in the Königstein district of Pfaffendorf.

Our eight modern rooms offer a high level of comfort and are cleaned and disinfected according to local regulations. Each room has satellite TV with a USB port, free Wi-Fi, two pillows (one hypoallergenic if desired), fly screens on all windows, blackout curtains, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, hairdryer, free toiletries, a make-up mirror, bed linen and towels (included in the price). The comfort double rooms also have a coffee station, which is refilled if needed, and some have a view of the garden and the Pfaffenstein.

after our delicious breakfast buffet, you will be ready to explore the wild nature of Saxon Switzerland. We serve regional sausage and cheese varieties, fresh bread rolls and bread daily from the Lauermann bakery in Gohrisch, egg dishes, a variety of fruit and vegetables, muesli, a variety of spreads and jams, milk, fruit juices and, of course, coffee and tea. To round off the day, we serve you delicacies from the region. You decide whether you would prefer to eat inside or outside on the terrace! For dinner, we will spoil you with a Saxon gourmet buffet. Try everything! You don't have to decide and there is something new every day!

No Elbe fog, no noise from major roads or suburban trains, when you wake up you only hear the chirping of local birds. From our house it is only a 20-minute walk to the centre of Königstein, where you can connect to the suburban train and the Elbe shipping. There is also a bus stop 200 m from your Pension Lachmann.

Our town, situated in a pleasant, climatic altitude, is an ideal starting point for hikes, mountain tours, steamboat trips on the Elbe, as well as for excursions in the near and far surroundings, even in winter - such as the unique Bastei, ‘Elbflorenz Dresden’ or a visit to the castles and palaces of Saxony. In addition, there are many offers that we would be happy to recommend to you personally.
