Welcome to the Mahnke family at the Königshof guesthouse in Königshütte!

Our "Königshof" guesthouse is easily accessible in the Königshütte district of the same name, right where the Warme and Kalte Bode rivers meet and the Königsburg castle is not far away.

The "Königshof" is an inexpensive and cosy little guesthouse. 10 rooms and 2 holiday flats are at your disposal. Your four-legged friends are just as welcome on request as we offer your car its own parking space.

With our central location, both in Königshütte and in the Oberharz, directly on the "Harzer Hexen Stieg", our guesthouse is recommended for all friends of the Harz and nature. But also business travellers will find in our pension "Königshof" a central starting point for their business requirements.

Our restaurant in the Hotel Am Felsen in Königshütte serves hearty German cuisine. In our restaurant, in the guesthouse "Am Felsen" with a total of 104 seats, we serve you hearty dishes of German cuisine, fine wines and flavoursome beers. You are also welcome to dine with us a la carte. On request, we also offer buffets or menus by arrangement and advance booking. We also offer our pension guests half or full board at favourable prices. You have the opportunity to have a quick drink at our cosy bar in our Kaminstube.

Even if you book at short notice, we are able to cater for guests from an entire coach. On our quiet terrace surrounded by greenery, with a view of the mighty rock and its caves, which gave our hotel its name, we will be happy to spoil you with our culinary specialities. We are also happy to cater for tour groups by prior arrangement. Coach operators will find a spacious car park here, even for larger vehicles. For a barbecue evening, where you can cook the food you have brought with you, all the necessary equipment is available on our terrace.

The Harzer- Hexen- Stieg leads directly along the pension. Numerous hiking trails right outside the front door and in the surrounding area invite you to go on extensive hikes. We also have a number of bicycles available for short bike tours. Bikers are very welcome! The Harz Mountains with their low mountain range landscape and very winding roads are an Eldorado for bikers, who can safely park their bikes under our own carport after an eventful ride.
