Welcome to the Mahnke family at the Königshof guest house in Königshütte!

Our guest house ‘Königshof’ is conveniently located in the district of the same name in Königshütte, directly at the confluence of the Warme and Kalte Bode rivers and not far from the royal castle.

The ‘Königshof’ is an affordable and cosy little guest house. There are 10 rooms and 2 holiday apartments available. Your four-legged friends are welcome on request, and we can provide a parking space for your car.

With our central location, both in Königshütte and in the Oberharz, directly on the ‘Harzer Hexen Stieg’, our guesthouse is recommended for all friends of the Harz and nature. But business travellers will also find our ‘Königshof’ guesthouse to be a central starting point for their business needs.

Our restaurant at the hotel ‘Am Felsen’ in Königshütte serves hearty German cuisine. In our restaurant at the guest house ‘Am Felsen’, which seats 104 people, we serve hearty dishes of German cuisine, fine wines and tasty beers. You are also welcome to dine à la carte with us. On request, we also offer buffets or menus by prior arrangement and reservation. We also offer our guests half or full board at reasonable prices. In our fireplace lounge, you have the opportunity to have a small drink at our cosy bar.

We are able to cater for the guests of an entire coach, even at short notice. We are happy to spoil you with our culinary specialities on our quiet terrace in the countryside, with a view of the mighty rock and its caves, which gave our hotel its name. We are also happy to cater for groups by prior arrangement. We have a large car park for coach operators, including for larger vehicles. The necessary equipment is available on our terrace for a barbecue evening, where you can prepare the food you have brought with you.

The Harzer-Witches-Stieg passes directly by the guesthouse. Numerous hiking trails start right on our doorstep and in the surrounding area, inviting you to go on extended hikes. We also have a few bikes available for short bike rides. For a barbecue evening, where you can prepare your own food, you can use the necessary equipment on our terrace.

Cyclists are very welcome here! The Harz region, with its low mountain range and very winding roads, is an Eldorado for bikers, who can park their bikes safely under our own carport after an eventful tour.
