You will find our HOTEL KLOSTERHOF in Gutenzell, a dreamy place in the middle of forests with wonderful hiking trails, ideal for relaxing and unwinding. Gutenzell, with its monastery church, is a jewel of the Upper Swabian Baroque Route.

For over 30 years, we, the Sax family, and our motivated employees, have been running the Klosterhof with joy and verve, now in the second generation. Our house – a former gatehouse – offers a pleasant stay for relaxing hours in beautiful, stylish rooms with a lovingly designed ambience.

The main building KLOSTERHOF and our GUEST HOUSE AM MÜHLBACH offer double rooms and single rooms. The cosy rooms in a rustic, rural style provide comfort and cosiness and are equipped with shower or bath, toilet, direct-dial telephone, TV-SAT and minibar or drinks in the room. Fax and internet are available at the reception in the monastery courtyard.

The Haus am Mühlbach also offers a relaxation meadow and a small herb garden behind the house, as well as a natural water treading pool at the mill stream.

An excellent cuisine with many regional Swabian specialities and fine dishes of the sophisticated cuisine - will spoil even the most demanding guest.

Our dishes are always freshly prepared with the greatest possible care, using mainly regional ingredients.

Whether you're planning a convivial dinner, conference, party or romantic meal for two, we offer the perfect setting for gatherings of all kinds. We will organise your party or event in our stylish rooms, tailored to your individual wishes and ideas.
