Welcome to the guesthouse Elisabeth & Landhaus-Café Gensler in Poppenhausen !

In the heart of the Rhön, in the centre of Poppenhausen, you will find Gästehaus Elisabeth with room for 16 guests. The cosily furnished rooms are equipped with shower/WC, TV and balcony.

Families or couples in particular, who simply want to enjoy a little more space, will quickly feel at home in our holiday flat. The separate entrance to the basement flat is accessible at ground level. The wood-burning stove in the inviting living-dining area ensures cosy comfort - so you can enjoy your holiday right from the start. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, fridge, coffee machine, toaster and much more. The small but cosy bathroom has a shower and WC.

Since the 2014 season we can offer you another, newly furnished holiday flat in the Elisabeth guest house. On 45 square metres you will find an open-plan living-dining area with fully equipped kitchen and a separate bedroom with bathroom and balcony. You will immediately feel at home in this bright and cosy holiday flat and enjoy your holiday from the very first day. The kitchen is fully equipped with a hob, oven, fridge, coffee machine, toaster and much more. The comfortable sofa also offers additional sleeping space for two people. You have access to the balcony from the separate bedroom. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and WC.

As a special feature, we serve breakfast every morning from April to October in our country house café or in your room. So you can enjoy all the advantages of a holiday flat and at the same time be pampered in the morning without having to worry about breakfast yourself.

There is a stylishly furnished daytime café in the house, which is open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 14:3o to 18:oo and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 15:oo to 18:oo. Enjoy cosy hours with a delicious selection of cakes, coffee specialities, fine drinks and small snacks.

Parking spaces are available for our guests behind the house. From the guest house, which is centrally located in the village centre, you can reach shops, inns and other facilities in the village in just a few steps.
