Welcome to the Wäldebauernhof in Gutach / Schwarzwaldbahn!

The Wäldebauernhof has existed since 1491 - but today's guests no longer have to make friends with the living conditions of that time. After a fire in 1933, the house was rebuilt in the Black Forest style using wood from the farm's own forest. This required 1000 solid cubic metres of wood, the equivalent of a massive cube each 1000 metres long! Today, the former storage and living rooms are available to holiday guests as holiday rooms and offer contemporary comfort.

The holiday rooms are equipped with shower and WC. In all rooms: Fridge, minibar, hairdryer, balcony, kettle, safe, W-LAN, luggage rack, soap.

For a small surcharge you can make your own coffee or tea.

New are our four motorhome pitches, prices on request.

For breakfast we spoil you with: Bread/rolls, toast, homemade farmhouse bread, sausage, cheese, muesli, milk, juice, jam, honey, Nutella, fruit, yoghurt. Every two days there are fresh chicken eggs from the farm, on Sundays there is always a fish platter with home-smoked trout.

There is a playground for the children, barbecue facilities, the neighbouring meadow is available for picnics or football games and you can fish or simply cool off in the nearby Gutach river.

Every Friday there is a barbecue evening at the Wäldebauernhof and on Wednesdays there is the popular tarte flambée from the wood-fired oven.

Our farm is run as a full-time farm, mainly with forestry. Another important mainstay is the production of high-quality fruit brandies, which has been part of our daily work in our own distillery since 1850. We also bake bread all year round in our own wood-fired oven in the traditional way and produce Black Forest cider, a natural apple wine, several times a year in autumn. Our own sausages round off our culinary offering.

The Wäldebauernhof offers a free transfer from/to Hausach railway station, which is 4 km away.
