Welcome to the Wäldebauernhof in Gutach / Black Forest Railway!

The Wäldebauenhof has existed since 1491 - but today's guest no longer needs to make friends with the living conditions of that time. After a fire in 1933, the house was rebuilt in Black Forest style with wood from the farm's own forest. This required 1000 solid cubic metres of wood, which corresponds to a massive cube of 1000 metres on each side! Today, the former storage and living rooms are available to holiday guests as holiday rooms and offer contemporary comfort.

The holiday rooms are equipped with shower and WC. In all rooms: Fridge, minibar, hairdryer, balcony, kettle, safe, W-LAN, luggage rack, soap.
For a small extra charge you can get coffee or tea for self-service.
New are our four camper pitches, prices on request.

For breakfast we spoil you with: Bread/rolls, toast, homemade farmhouse bread, sausage, cheese, muesli, milk, juice, jam, honey, Nutella, fruit, yoghurt. Every two days there are fresh chicken eggs from the farm, on Sundays always a fish platter with home-smoked trout.

For the children, a playground, barbecue facilities, the adjacent meadow is ready for picnics or for football games and in the nearby river Gutach you can fish or just cool off.
Every Friday we have a barbecue at the Wäldebauernhof, and every Wednesday we serve the popular tarte flambée from the wood-fired oven.

Our farm is run as a full-time business, mainly with forestry. Another important pillar is the production of high-quality fruit brandies. As every winter since 1850, this is one of the daily tasks in the farm's own distillery. In addition, we bake bread in our own wood-burning oven all year round according to old tradition and we produce Black Forest cider, a natural apple wine, several times a year in autumn. Our own sausages round off our culinary offer.

The Wäldebauernhof offers a free transfer from/to Hausach railway station, 4 km away.
