The modern new friendly hotel (opening 2021) on the outskirts of Kork near Kehl close to Strasbourg in Alsace. Located between the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains, not far from the A5 motorway and with S-Bahn connections to ICE and TGV stations, Kork has ideal transport links to Freiburg, Baden-Baden, Freudenstadt, EUROPAPARK and even Paris for a day trip. Cycling, hiking, canoeing or simply enjoying nature - you've come to the right place.

The KELKO 1A HOTEL offers fully equipped, air-conditioned rooms and is ideal for business travellers, visitors to the Diakonie and for short and weekend breaks. Shower, WC, hairdryer and satellite TV are of course available in all rooms. A mini fridge and kettle are also included in the comfort rooms. In all other rooms you can book these additionally.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Kork, a district of Kehl am Rhein (5 km), right next to the Diakonie. You can reach us by car from the A5 motorway (Karlsruhe-Basel) via exit 54 Appenweier, then 7 km on the B28 towards Kehl, exit Kork/Neumühl. Public transport connections by bus (100 m) to Kehl or Offenburg or by S-Bahn (900 m) in a few minutes to the ICE/TGV stations in Offenburg or Strasbourg (F).

In the historic half-timbered village of Kork you will find several restaurants and shopping facilities such as a grocery shop, a pharmacy and a petrol station with shop.

Thanks to the hotel's central location between the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains, many excursion destinations are within easy reach. It is about 20 km to the wine villages in the Black Forest, 30 km to the Black Forest High Road and only 10 km to the centre of Strasbourg. The Vosges Mountains with the Alsace Wine Route on the French side are approx. 25 km away, as are Baden-Baden and the EUROPAPARK in Rust, 40 km away. The Offenburg trade fair centre is only 15 km from the hotel, as is the Strasbourg trade fair centre.

Most places can also be reached by public transport via bus and S-Bahn from Kork.

Our personal tip: A day trip to Paris. It only takes 3 hours by TGV from Strasbourg.
