The modern new friendly hotel (opening 2021) on the outskirts of Kork near Kehl close to Strasbourg in Alsace. Situated between the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains, not far from the A5 motorway and with S-Bahn connections to ICE and TGV stations, Kork has ideal transport links to Freiburg, Baden-Baden, Freudenstadt, EUROPAPARK and even Paris for a day trip. Cycling, hiking, paddle tours or simply enjoying nature - here you are in the right place.

The KELKO 1A HOTEL offers fully equipped air-conditioned rooms and is ideal for business travellers, visitors to the Diakonie and for short and weekend holidaymakers. Shower, WC, hairdryer and SAT TV are of course available in all rooms. In the comfort rooms there is also a minibar fridge and kettle included. In all other rooms you can book these additionally.
Access to the hotel is uncomplicated with key card and/or code.

Parking spaces of an external operator are available in sufficient number directly at the hotel (chargeable, 5 € per day, weekly ticket 20 €). Here you will also find 4 e-charging stations and 3 parking spaces for guests with disabilities.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Kork, a district of Kehl on the Rhine (5 km) directly next to the Diakonie. By car you can reach us from the A5 (Karlsruhe-Basel) via exit 54 Appenweier, then 7 km on the B28 towards Kehl, exit Kork/Neumühl. Public transport connection by bus (100 m) to Kehl or Offenburg or by suburban train (900 m) in a few minutes to the ICE/TGV stations in Offenburg or Strasbourg (F).
In the historic half-timbered village of Kork you will find several restaurants and shopping facilities such as a grocery shop, pharmacy and petrol station with shop.

Due to the central location of the hotel, between the Black Forest and the Vosges, many excursion destinations can be reached within a very short time. It is about 20 km to the wine villages in the Black Forest, 30 km to the Black Forest High Road and only 10 km to the centre of Strasbourg. The Vosges Mountains with the Alsace Wine Route on the French side are around 25 km away, as are Baden-Baden and the EUROPAPARK in Rust 40 km away. The Offenburg Trade Fair is only 15 km from the hotel as is the Strasbourg Trade Fair.

Most places can also be reached by public transport via bus and S-Bahn from Kork.

Our personal tip: A day trip to Paris. It takes only 3 hours by TGV from Strasbourg.
