Our family-run Hotel Sonneck, which was expanded and newly renovated in 2011, is located in the centre of Gottwollshausen. All rooms are non-smoking rooms. Most rooms have access to the roof terrace, a single balcony or a loggia. Smoking is allowed there. We ask that smokers be considerate of the other hotel guests. All rooms are equipped with shower/WC/hairdryer/telephone/cable TV on flat screens.
From the Comfort category upwards, the bathrooms are equipped with cosmetic mirrors.
In the Superior and De Luxe categories, the bathrooms have a radio, floor-level showers with an additional rain shower (overhead shower) and heated towel rails.
In the superior and deluxe categories, all rooms have underfloor heating and underfloor cooling in summer. All rooms can be darkened, some also have electric blinds, free Wi-Fi and in the superior and deluxe categories also a LAN connection.
Our home-style cooking provides the culinary setting. Our restaurant is open daily and offers hot meals from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. We not only offer selected wines from the Württemberg region, but also a small but fine European selection.
One of our six different beers, freshly tapped, is our house beer. It is bottled for us by the Krauss brewery in Riedbach – Frankenbräu. Tucher Hefeweizen, Haller Löwenbräu Edelpils, Meistergold and naturally cloudy Radler are also available on tap.
Coffee, tea, chocolate specialities and our homemade cakes are available, as is a large ice cream menu. From iced coffee to homemade tiramisu.
We also have an especially large selection of spirits, cocktails and much more.
Our restaurant with home-style cooking caters for your physical well-being. You can celebrate with up to 190 guests in the entire premises of the Hotel Sonneck. When the weather is nice, you can also use the sun terrace.
The historic old town of Schwäbisch Hall is only a 15-minute walk away. We are the ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours and cultural visits in the historic old town of Schwäbisch Hall and the entire Hohenlohe region.
