Welcome to the Hotel Hauer in the climatic health resort Bollendorf.

The three-star hotel is located in the German-Luxembourg Nature Park, directly on the Sauer, the border to Luxembourg. e offer our guests a family-run, cosy home for the best days of the year. Katharina and Dana Hauer are the fifth generation of friendly hosts in a house that is more than 100 years old.

Modern three-star comfort with all amenities characterises the 21 rooms: W-Lan or TV are a matter of course; a sunny balcony with an unobstructed view of the gently flowing Sûre and the densely wooded Luxembourg riverbank provides the pleasant "wow!" effect in many rooms. The rooms are all equipped with shower/WC/hairdryer/TV and self-dial telephone. All our rooms are non-smoking. All rooms are easily accessible by lift. Please note that our reception and restaurant are only open from 3.00 pm on weekdays. Three- and four-bed rooms are available for families. Children up to 6 years of age sleep in their parents' bed free of charge.

The breakfast buffet offers fresh sausages, home-made ham, home-made sausages, cheese, home-made jams, various rolls and breads, fresh fruit salad, diet margarine and diet jams, fresh cheese, quark, yoghurt and much more.

Chef Carlo Hauer conjures up fresh, seasonally changing country recipes on your plate. Game dishes from local hunting or hearty schnitzels au gratin with goat cheese in a refined version with homemade smoked ham, plums and cream cheese are highlights of the menu. And the genuine beef roulades with red apple cabbage are legendary! The restaurant serves the best of regional cuisine, with a successful mix of tradition and modern creativity. Even discerning Luxembourgish foodies who come especially from the nearby Grand Duchy are delighted with Carlo Hauer's style. The homemade liqueurs, own honey as well as home-made smoked ham and lard give the menus a distinctive touch or round off the dishes... Delicacies handmade with love and time.

Our tailor-made excursion tips, which we give our guests every morning, contribute to the carefree feeling of well-being: have a delicious breakfast and then simply set off on a perfect day of holiday! Hikers who want to explore the countless trekking and climbing routes in the Southern Eifel or in Luxembourg's Müllerthal feel at home with us. Cyclists are at the right address with us, because our hotel is located directly on the Sauertal cycle path, which is part of a dense network of cycle paths to the Moselle and the Maars of the Volcanic Eifel.

We have a special heart for motorcyclists who love the winding little mountain roads of the Eifel and Ardennes: With a motorbike garage, suitable drying rooms and special wardrobes for motorbike clothing, our house is an ideal holiday domicile for spirited biker holidays.
